Brussels
From the Netherlands, we set off for Brussels as our base to explore Belgium for a few days. Brussels is an interesting mix of new and old architecture. (below, left) Guild Houses on main square.

After some cool weather and with the sun out, people flocked to the Parc de Bruxelles. But, the sunshine soon yielded to rain.

After walking around the city on our last day there, John decided that he must have at least one Belgian waffle (right) while Spotless watched, ready to indulge as always.
