At 37 square miles, St. Maarten is the smallest territory in the world shared by two sovereign states: The Dutch rule the southern half, Sint Maarten, and the French rule Saint Maarten, the northern part. Once again, we parked next to a much larger ship; this time the Carnival Victory (2,758 passengers plus 1,100 crew)
