The Bonaventure Cemetery on the outskirts of Savannah is an historic cemetery that gained notoriety from the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt. The book was on the New York Times bestseller list for 216 weeks and was later made into a movie directed by Clint Eastwood.
