l'Atalier de Joël Robuchon is one of our favorite places in London and a truly amazing dining adventure. This trip we tried another tasing menu paired with "new world" wines. Of course, all the wines were from the eastern hemisphere and, even then, only one was from south of the equator. No matter, it was a truly lovely experience!

I say, old spot, nothing like a glass of bubbly to start with!   (above, middle) Parmesan cappucino with port. (above, right) Caviar Oscietr. (below, left) Jerusalem artichoke soup, quail egg and a mushroom and black truffle crouton. (below, middle) Hot foie gras, beer confit red cabbage with roast “Solies” figs. (below, right) Scallop cooked in its shell with seaweed butter.
