One of the most famous churches in the world is the Duomo in Milan. It is known for it's ornate architecture which spans many architectural styles as the building was some 400 years in construction. See pictures of Spotless on top of the building.
Probably the most famous art piece in Milan is Leonardo da Vinci's painting of the Last Supper. It's still a masterpiece, but is surely in poor condition for a variety of reasons. Once you've seen the orginal, you must appreciate the Last Supper stained glass window in Forest Lawn-Glendale (of course I'm not biased).
